Purpose: To transport people and freight within cities, between cities, across states, interstate, and intercontinentally—faster, cheaper, safer, more reliably, and more conveniently than current technologies.
Action Plan: Construct a novel road network using prestressed steel string-rail tracks suspended at least 60 feet above ground level. Employ high-speed, all-electric, fully grid-powered, driverless vehicles capable of carrying up to 50,000 passengers per hour
or hauling 60,000 pounds of freight in 53-foot shipping containers, dry vans, or refrigerated trailers. Extend the network over 27,000 miles of rigid track, positioned above major highways and connecting seaports to cities, spanning from Canada through the continental United States to Mexico.
